The answer is the office

My (unpopular?) opinion on work in 2024 is that most career problems can be solved, and most career aspirations can be achieved by showing up daily to a location and working around your peers.

It could be at a new wave of third places like Switchyards.

It could be a community of like-minded people like Atlanta Tech Village or ATDC.

It could be your company’s *actual* office. (The fact that so few people do this will be an even more significant advantage to you. 📍Proximity is power.)

I believe most people don’t hate getting up daily and going to the office. What they actually hate is a lack of flexibility, long commutes, insufficient in-office boundaries (both literal and figurative), unsupportive coworkers, and managers who are bad at managing.
